Sylvia Strobel, President
Sylvia is a Biology professor at Finger Lakes Community College, Canandaigua, NY.
She is also a Reiki practitioner and owns and operates SaraRoses, based in Clifton Springs, New York offering Women’s Wellness Retreats and Healing sessions.
Kathy Keller, Treasurer
Kathy is a peace activist and former teacher.
Aileen Fitzke, Secretary
Aileen is a writer and mother who lives with her family at an intentional community, Ecovillage at Ithaca,
where she works as the Visitor Coordinator.
Jeanne Crane
Jeanne Crane is a coach and consultant in the areas of leadership development, facilitative processes,
organizational change and dealing with conflict. Her current passion is shared ministry: helping
lay and clergy work together to build Beloved Community.
Rev. Martha Forisha
Martha is Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Seneca Falls.
Rev. Dr. Allison Stokes, Founding Director
Allison serves as the visionary, the primary spokesperson and interpreter of the Institute’s mission.
Past Presidents
Rev. Marilyn Foster, President Emeritus
Marilyn serves as pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Seneca Falls. She was the
first Board President (2003-2007).
Dr. Barbara Viniar
Barbara is the Executive Director of the Institute for Community College Development, located
on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca. She was the second Board President (2007).
